A fellowship built for action
The G4 Alliance Fellowship supports emerging leaders working to improve access to safe surgical care. Through advocacy, research and policy development, fellows work alongside global health professionals on practical priorities for the five billion people who lack access to safe surgical care.
Three pillars of the Fellowship
Mentorship
Senior mentors from the G4 Alliance network offer career guidance, connections and feedback aligned with each fellow’s clinical and research interests.
Education
Monthly virtual speaker sessions bring fellows together with global leaders for lectures, questions and discussion.
Service / Working Groups
Fellows contribute to expert-led working groups as active team members, taking ownership of projects, campaigns and shared deliverables.
What fellows work on
Policy & Advocacy
Develop policy briefs, examine national surgical, obstetric and anesthesia plans, and prepare materials for global health convenings.
Research & Data
Support evidence reviews, map care infrastructure, study disruptions to surgical care, and prepare research outputs.
Resource Mobilization
Explore funding opportunities, support grant proposals and help form strategic partnerships.
