Who We Are
The Global Alliance for Surgical, Obstetric, Trauma and Anesthesia Care (G4 Alliance) is a coalition of over 70 leading organizations from across the world. Together, we advocate for the 5 billion people globally who lack access to safe, timely, and affordable surgical care.
Founded in 2014, we unite healthcare providers, policy experts, and advocates from civil society organizations, NGOs, professional associations, hospitals, universities, and socially-conscious businesses under one mission:
To advocate for the neglected surgical patient.
Why It Matters
- Every year, millions of preventable deaths and disabilities occur because people cannot access essential surgery.
- Safe surgical care is as vital as vaccines or other preventive medicine
