Dr. Kerry Vaughan is a global surgery advocate, pediatric neurosurgeon, assistant professor of neurosurgery in the Barrow Global Division, Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, USA, and neurosurgery specialist at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre in Moshi, Tanzania. While particularly passionate about improving care for children with surgical needs, she works with multinational teams on healthcare system strengthening for all patients. She is also a member of the Permanent Council of the G4 Alliance, a global network of advocates for the neglected surgical patient, and has been a part of the global neurosurgery movement for nearly 10 years – inspired by numerous mentors and innovators in the global surgery field.
