Maria Jayoussi, CPA, MBA, FHMFA, has significant expertise in the healthcare industry and great in-depth knowledge of healthcare trends, finances, provision of care and healthcare delivery system.
Currently, Maria serves as the vice president of finance for community physicians for UNC Health in North Carolina. She is responsible for providing financial leadership and coordination of financial planning and reporting procedures, budget development, and management functions, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance and use of management
Maria received her master’s in business administration from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University with special concentration in finance and healthcare. Maria is a certified public accountant and has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Damascus in Syria. She is an active member of the HealthCare Financial Management Association (HFMA). Maria is fluent in Arabic and English.
